Engineering Project Management
Took Seal-Shield medical devices from the initial start into introduction to the market, or internal delivery. As a D.A. project engineering manager, the company's agreements with Seal-Shield ensured I monitored schedules, costs, quality, testing lab facilities and requirements, and kept abreast of any new product developments. My main focus was medical and clinical area, which included the keyboard series Cleanwipe 101, Seal Clean 207/208, Cleanwips 099, Seal Glow 106, and Seal Silk Glow 108.
Over 8+ Types of Medical Devices
Number of medical devices managed included keyboards, computer mice, screen protectors, UV-C sanitizers, etc.
Anti-microbial & Water Testing Labs
Worked with testing lab managers with general duties scheduling staff, reordering supplies and maintaining security standards.
~240 Multi-User Environment
Seal-Shield's products are used in every industry from health care, food service, construction, to hospitality.
Anti-microbial lab test
IP (Ingress Protection) test
Manufacturing & Logistics
With the company headquarters in Florida, production held overseas, and major distribution from Washington State, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to execute logistical processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions, sourcing, delivery); as well as provided recommendations for updates for applicable Supply Chain functions. Notable changes I implemented are boxing labels (UPC and instructions) and more efficient storage scheduling and handling for distribution.

Tracking Product Inventory
As project manager, my daily tasks included compiling, reviewing, and maintaining records for purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents using an internal ERP system for all manufacturing products held at my location (IE. waterproof computer keyboards and waterproof mice for medical area usage).

New Product Development
Additional work included new product development towards creating more innovative medical device products. For my last project with R&D (research and development) teams, I was assigned to create a waterproof medical-grade keyboard with card reader security integration. My responsibility was to understand the needs of hospital nurses and doctors then apply that understanding to develop new concepts and improve performance or any pain points (ultimately a card reader and mount attachment was launched).
